The factory turbo of Honda Civic Type R FL5 is a very good upgrade for your FK2 or FK8 if you want to keep an OE type configuration but with better performance.

Intake:
The turbo of the FL5 has 8 blades with ⌀45mm instead of 6 blades ⌀50mm of the FK8. This gives an earlier spool and higher peak torque (+11hp at 6400rpm and 33Nm at 3400 rpm).

Exhaust:
The FL5's turbo has 9 blades instead of the FK8's 11, with reduced back pressure.
